I could see that one coming ever since the last deal. They've never been serious about working with Obama on anything, and they never will be. They just want to see him fail, no matter what happens to the American economy (or the people) as a result. In fact, I'm sure they're hoping this damages the economy so that they can blame Obama for it.

The big question is this: If the Republicans win back the White House and control over both houses of Congress, what's their plan for making things better for the average American? Tax breaks for the wealthiest don't count, since that's been tried before and has been proven not to work.
