Bannon's last day; Trump's brain toppled

Postby Marie » Fri Aug 18, 2017 5:24 pm

I'm imagining the editorial cartoon in every artist's mind tonight: an equestrian statue of Steve Bannon being pulled down off its pedestal.

The story they're putting out is that he himself had already made the decision to resign. But who is there among us that doesn't believe his departure is the result of the startling things he said in his recent American Prospect interview, and violent events in Charlotte last weekend reflecting many of the views he espouses?

He thought he was invulnerable. How are the mighty fallen!

You find out what someone is really like in "battle," and Olbermann is who you want to be in a foxhole with, Patrick said. "On the air, we had each others' backs," said Olbermann.
