Limbaugh Tells Listeners He 'Fed Ex'd' Behar Knee Pads for Obama Interview
With President Obama preparing for a trip to The View tomorrow it was only a matter of time until Rush Limbaugh had something to say about it.
“Obama is trying to get his numbers up. Obama is out there. He’s gonna go on The View. He’s going to tape an appearance on The View. Even “Fast Eddie” Rendell, the governor of Pennsylvania, said, “No, no, no. Don’t go on that show. That’s like going on Jerry Springer.” A lot of Democrats say, “This is not dignified. You’re not dignifying the office of the presidency.” The dirty little secret is that for every day Obama is in that office, he denigrates it. He becomes less and less presidential with each passing day. So now he’s going to go on this gabfest. I followed through, by the way, and sent some kneepads to Maude Behar by FedEx. She ought to get ‘em today in advance of the taping of the show tomorrow. “
President Obama has been under scrutiny recently for skipping the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree in order to appear on The View. With his appearance Obama becomes the first sitting president to visit a day time talk show.
