Monday's Countdown with Keith Olbermann, "The Year of the Special Comment,"
was a replay of four commentaries. "This was an unintended path you and I traveled
in 2006, the simple result of the confluence of events, the realization of what needed
to be said on behalf of many who felt their voices ignored or stills, and most
importantly, a matter-of-fact surprising realization that nobody else with a platform
like mine was going to say any of this," he said in the intro...

Any time he looks at you like that, you know he means business!

Sometimes schools or clubs hold oratorical competitions in which students deliver
historic speeches they've memorized.

It just struck me that some parents or teachers may be suggesting Keith's special
comments to these young orators at some point in the future. It would be wonderful
to know the words well enough to be able to recite them.
