I believe he decided not to publish it under NewsCorp.

Amazon wasn't of any assistance:

http://www.amazon.com/Youre-Scoring-Hom ... F8&s=books

And this was the most relevant comment I found when I Googled the title:

I'm sure someone has more info...now I'm curious.

If that book ever existed it is a surprise to OCLC, which maintains a union catalog of, pretty much, every book every published. Their database includes something like 60 million titles. I suspect that this book would also be a surprise to Keith:

Quanlin is right. That was the title of the book Keith was writing for News Corp. when the Sandy Koufax flap happened and he returned his advance and quit writing the book "on principle" because he was so disgusted with Rupert Murdoch.

Somebody screwed up if was the NewsCorp book, then, because the copyright
dates provided for the hardback and paperback versions are, respectively, 2004
& 2005.
And how did a withdrawn book make it all the way to paperback!

Probably what happened was that they printed up some advance reading copies before the project was killed.

It got as far as getting the ISBN # 0060938005. I suspect that even though it is listed by a number of online bookstores (always listed as "Out of Stock"), it never existed and never got as far as advance reading copies.

Aw, shoot! Well, if it turns up at a yard sale or something, someone's gonna be sitting on a gold mine by buying it!

If it's on Ebay, the bids will be out of this world!

terry is our Watcher - my reference to the librarian Mr. Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Giles was a librarian who frequently went on "patrol" with Buffy looking for vamps.
